This is a fun project to do with your students because it will help them learn more about France, its regions, its location, and its culture.
This project can be completed in class, with a substitute, or as a homework assignment.
Teachers will need to print a map of France (with regions labeled and outlined), make copies of the student's booklet, provide glue sticks or tape, and cut the list of regions so that each student can be assigned a region of France by drawing from a hat (preferably a béret!). You can choose to focus on the metropolitan regions only or all the regions (metropolitan and overseas departments).
At the end of the booklet, students will be given the opportunity to say if they would like to visit this region or not and will be asked to explain.
My students especially liked reading all the booklets at the end and asking each other questions.
