This visual can help your student understand where numbers go during regrouping. This is particularly helpful to students who are visual learners. This activity can be used after a student has been taught concretely what regrouping is using 10's and 1's blocks. There are three scaffolding levels on this document, the top being used to give most support, and the bottom of the document is where support is completely supported. I cut each scaffolding level and laminated each, putting them on a key ring to use quickly and as a support my students could use easily while completing a worksheet.
