The -AR verb chart is a recourse tool provided to students to learn present tense -AR verb conjugation. The chart includes regular -AR verbs in Spanish in a chart where students will then fill in as they learn how to conjugate the verbs. The first column provides a space to write the English translation for the verb, followed by columns that correspond to the conjugational patter.
Students can fill in the stem of each verb and either highlight or underline the specific "o", "as", "a", "amos", "ais", and "an" endings in order for them to clearly see the pattern.
The back provides a practice. Students choose one -AR verb to conjugate in each box and write a simple sentence. A picture or drawing can be provided that describes the action of the verb. This will allow the student to visually see what how conjugating the verb changes when used in context.
Optional: Students can present their drawings and sentences to the class once they have completed the activity.
