Fill in the missing information polygon activity that covers triangles to tridecagons (3 to 13 sides). For each regular polygon, students are asked for the number of sides, number of vertices, number of triangles, the sum of all interior angles, and the measure of each interior angle, plus they need to draw a figure and insert the diagonals necessary to find the number of triangles. This is a two-page student activity that is in landscape mode.
This fun polygon activity can be used in various ways. I have students work in pairs to complete the missing information after our polygon lesson as a way to reinforce the information and give them a good set of notes for the topic (I request the copies be 2 sided and 3-holed punched so each student gets one sheet for their notebook). It could also be used as a multi-day warmup, homework assignment, individual refresh for more advanced students or used during the lesson as interactive notes. A complete answer key is attached.
