This is 2 questions styled after the AP questions, both non-calculator.

The first questions is the amount of air being pumped into a balloon. Students are asked to determine, between 2 amounts, at which time is the balloon growing more quickly, to determine the second derivative and if a given graph is feasible, and to determine a particular solution using separation of variables.

The second question uses a cylindrical shape and has students show the equation for the rate the height is changing, solve the differential equation using separation of variables, and determine the amount of hours it would take to burn out the cylindrical candle.

Both questions are given, their scoring guidelines, and a blank answer sheet for each for students to use to help them become familiar with the set up of the AP questions.
