I had a brainstorm getting ready for my time unit after we've been studying fractions - split the clock into fractional parts (half, fourths, and twelfths) to help my students "see" time!
This packet includes:
4 pages of posters that show how to split the clock into fractions to help students visualize time
*These can be printed full size or using the “multiple” option under the print setting for smaller sizes (or for students interactive notebooks)
*8 cards that go with the game: “What time is my act, Mr. Ringmaster?”
*students match the card with the analog clock to the picture on the recording sheet. Students then read and record the time on the digital clock.
*Two copies have been included for the recording sheet: one with the colon : drawn in for students not as familiar with time, and one without
