Observations Stations are activities that allow students hands-on experiences through 6 centers all focusing on a very specific concept.

In these Observation Stations, student teams observe six different scenarios related to relative density.
1. diet soda and regular soda in water
2. an egg in water and an egg in saltwater
3. a film canister of sand and a film canister of cotton in water
4. oil, water, and metal in a cup
5. solid objects in water
6. two options for liquids: balloons filled with liquids in tub of water or liquids in a density column
