Study relative pronouns and indefinite pronouns with these note-taking sheets, and then review with practice sentences. The grammar coloring sheets allow freedom for students to draw and take notes in a meaningful way. You have two options: print or digital.
This activity engages students as they take notes over relative pronouns and indefinite pronouns. Students can color the note-taking sheet, as well as color the actual pronouns.
→ 2 note-taking sheets (pictured). Students have an area for taking notes. One sheet for relative pronouns and a second sheet for indefinite pronouns.
→ 15 sentences that each contain a relative pronoun. Students are instructed to find the relative pronoun and the dependent clause for each sentence.
→ 15 sentences that each contain an indefinite pronoun. Students are instructed to find the indefinite pronoun for each sentence.
→ Answer keys.
I made this activity when my students needed extra practice with pronouns, but I wanted them to practice in an engaging way. Relative and indefinite pronouns seem to require the most practice for older students.
