Bring mindfulness into your classroom with scripted guided visualizations to transport your students to another world during an otherwise-hectic school day. My students see this as a time when they can escape from the stress of their day and fully relax. These scripts provide a great way to incorporate mindfulness in a fun way for students that are just beginning their practice. These ‘relaxation vacations’ can be used only once, or repeated over time. I use these once a week, but they can be used as often as you’d like! They can also be a great opener for a descriptive writing activity, or as a way to practice visualization as a reading skill.
