Do you need application activities to use for teaching religion?
This unit includes 40+ task card- type activities to be used
by 6th -12th graders. They follow the Problem Based Learning format of an authentic assessment model. It is meant to take the scripture and apply it in today’s world. These activities can be done in a group or individual setting, whichever meets your needs. They were also meant to give the students something concrete and applicable to work on together, in order to bring meaning to the scripture, and build personal relationships with each other and the teacher or leader. I did not include the stories themselves, just the scripture or theme that was being studied at the time. Some were used for Bible stories, such as David, some were for topical or thematic studies, such as different types of monsters that are found within us.
Included in this unit are:
*The life of David
*Monsters found within us
*How God helps us when we can't help ourselves
