Here’s a way you can help your students understand some key points and people from the Battle of the Alamo without having to resort to lecture, lecture, lecture. This paper .pdf version of the Remember the Alamo! Flipbook would be a great addition to an interactive notebook or as a stand alone research project.
Here's What's Included:
-2 files that allow you to either print one event per page or two events per page to save paper
-10 pages of the following main points/people:
-Remember the Alamo! - Cover to be Designed
-The Battle of the Alamo
-General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna
-The Travis Letters
-Surrender of Santa Anna
Everything gets printed on 8.5" x 11" paper and students will then cut out their flipbook pages, write in their information, and then staple the pages together. I also have this resource available in a paper format if you'd rather have your students write the information by hand.
