This is a PowerPoint file that offers flexibility. The teacher can use slides independently to focus on only the spaces or lines of one particular clef or use them all as one large song/chant. The slides can also be printed out as a resource for students to keep.
All slides rhyme to assist in memory and follow a catchy rhythm.
Slides 2-7 can be sung to the tune of the opening phrases of “The Addam’s Family Theme”. Plus the ever-so-fun last line of each slide, which not only summarizes the main idea, but would be followed by the “snap-snap” of the theme song tune. Except for the bass clef lines, the “snap-snap” would be replaced (or joined) by the exclamation “Anytime”!
The slides do not have to be used with the melody of the song, but students may enjoy the fun of singing it.
The bass clef lines has two versions to choose from so the teacher can choose which mnemonic they would rather enforce. (Slides 7 & 8 are interchangeable).
