The Intro is 21 slide SMART presentation over remote interior angles and exterior angles of a triangle. At the end of the presentation, the student should realize the sum of the 2 remote interior angles is equal to their exterior angle. The sum of the interior angles equal to 180 degrees and a linear pair of angles are used to demonstrate the theorem. These are used as an informal proof of this theorem.


Assignment #1 is a 20 question multiple choice exercise. The emphasis is on recognizing exterior angles and remote interior angles. The student is also asked to make simple equations based on the theorem. It is on 1 page for easy printing.

Assignment #2 is a 20 question multiple choice assignment with emphasis on making and solving equations using the Remote Interior Angles Theorem and the properties of adjacent, supplementary angles. Sometimes the student has to solve for “x” and sometimes “x” must be used to find the degree measure of an angle. It is on 1 page for easy printing.
