Renaissance Introduction, Exploration, and Creation Stations or Renaissance Activities
Stations are a great way to disperse information to students because they get to work independently, cover a lot of material, and move every 10 minutes. These stations are designed to introduce the Renaissance time period in a fun and student-led way. These stations can also be used as individual activities if needed!
You will get 8 stations that include information about:
Humanism v/s Christianity
Medici family research
Leonardo Da Vinci Compare and Contrast
Michelangelo and Christian Agenda
Astronomy Informational Text
Joan of Arc Research and Hundred Year War
Perspective in the Renaissance
Renaissance Arts in general
**Please Note** For most of these stations, students will need a device. Computers, Ipads, or smartphones will all work!
You will get a PDF with printable versions of the stations (with QR codes) as well as a PowerPoint that can be used digitally.
Download the preview for an overview of the activities included in this lesson!
This lesson was designed for my history classroom, but it can also be used in a British Literature class or art history class.
