This webquest allows students to learn about Medici Family and their impact on banking, Florence and the Catholic Church from the 1300s to the 1600s. Two engaging websites are used, please click below to view them.
The webquest contains 40 questions and is a great way for students to learn more about the following topics:
• Medici Family and Banking
• Popes and the Catholic Church during the Renaissance
• Violence and Torture during the Renaissance
An answer sheet is included for the teacher. QR codes along with the website links are included as well. The webquest takes most students about 30 to 50 minutes to complete depending on the age of your students. Feel free to modify this activity if needed to fit the needs of your students. I would suggest this webquest for grades 7-12 because some of the content is violent or has references to sexual relationships.
I would like to thank Illumismart for the wonderful clip art!
