This project is meant to be done at the end of this unit. I used this project in my classroom to help my students connect together the major events of the Renaissance and Reformation. Although there were many contributing factors to why these events happened, in some ways, they all led into each other. This was an excellent way to help my students process all that they had learned and they better understood these events once they completed this project.
This was a large project for my 6th graders, so to complete it I placed students into groups of 4-6. If working with older students, this could be done in smaller groups or just partners.
This can be completed digitally by uploading the PPT file into Google Drive and using Google Classroom, or, it can be printed and assigned that way. I printed mine last year and hung them around the room to display student work.
Guided questions to assist students in their research (either their notebook or the web) are included. Also, a rubric is included for convenience. Finally, I also included images of a student project.
Please watch the preview video for a look at the template, directions, rubric, and my student's work from last year.
