PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This powerpoint begins by taking the students to some of the most populated places on the planet. Have you ever ridden a bus in Bangledesh or taken a train ride in India? Just how many of us are there on this planet!!! Take a look at the earth and explore some of it's most crowded places. Renewable resources are shown along with their uses and limitations. Nonrenewable resources are those that may be more widely used are limited and cause pollution. Have you ever been into a coal mine (linked to video) or seen an oil rig blow. All this and more are included in this amazing lesson. This is a great introduction to our planets resources taught right along with the idea of conserving of our natural resources. The numbers are astounding.....but to actually see some of these places is mind boggling! Your students will love this power point. It will be discussed at their dinner tables!!!
This webquest would be great to use for the 2 days prior. It teaches the students all about the renewable resources available on planet earth.
