Check out how this lesson was used here at my blog:

Although designed for younger students, this could be helpful for older ages as well. Intended to be used to introduce the Impressionist artist, Renoir, this packet includes lessons that cover his early years working in a porcelain factory, his love for color, and his impressionist style. Each lesson also includes an art activity to go along with it.

Materials required include cotton balls, Q-tips, watercolor paints, colored pencils, paint brushes, pastels, paper plates and acrylic paint.
