-Representing Integers relay race: Turkey Edition!

Split students up into small groups. Print out a set of relay cards for each group. Give each group a marker and the first card. Tell students when to flip over the first card. When they complete it, they must bring it to you to check. If they get it right, they can draw the part of the turkey on the card. Then, give them the next card. If they get it wrong they can try again. The first team with the full turkey wins!

-Representing Integers Matching: Turkey Edition!
Give each pair of or group of students a set of matching cards. Print them on cardstock or mount them on colored paper so students can’t see through the cards. Have students place cards face down, and choose two cards at a time (Just like memory!). If they choose cards that match, they get to keep them. The student with the most cards at the end wins!

-Representing Integers BUMP: Turkey Edition!
Give each pair of students a set of playing cards, a game board, and integer chips OR colored chips (one color per person). Print the cards on cardstock or mount them on colored paper so students can’t see through the cards. Have students shuffle the deck of cards and choose a card one at a time. When they find the integer described by the card, they can put their game piece on the board. If their partner’s game piece is already their, they can BUMP that piece off. The first person with three in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins!

-Representing Integers: I have Who has
Give each student a card. Start with whomever you want. Have them read their card out loud. The student who has that integer goes next. Continue until all the students’ cards have been read.
