This scavenger hunt is the perfect way to let students work on representing numbers in different ways. Simply cut out the cards and scatter them throughout the classroom. Have students find them and record the number on the recording sheet provided. (there is also an answer key). Numbers are represented with ten frames, dice, hundreds charts, number words, tallies, counting bears, number lines, and base ten blocks. This could be used as a whole class activity where students go from one card to the next or as a math center or station. I displayed all of the cards on my wall in random order and used as a math center. View preview for a picture of the wall!
