Students will engage in a mini-lesson as the teacher models how to represent one number in a variety of ways. After the mini-lesson there are task cards with one number on them that the students will represent in a variety of ways. Students can do this in small guided math groups, with partners, independently, or at a math station.
There is one blank choice task card that gives the students the choice of what number they want to represent.
If you would like to extend this activity there are additional slides for sale at my TpT store. A FREE product may only have 10 slides. The additional source has many more slides and a True / False activity that go along with this one.
I hope you and your students enjoy Representing Numbers with Busy Bee!
