This quiz is the inverse of my TEKS 8.8A quiz. Students must select which situation could be represented by a given equation or inequality with variables on both sides. Students are not required to solve the equations or inequalities, so this makes a good challenge assignment for 7th graders who have mastered TEKS 7.10C.
Part of the TEKS quiz series, available for all 7th and 8th grade math TEKS. Each quiz contains ten questions of varying levels. Please click the preview button to see the quiz in its entirety and assess whether it is appropriate for your students. Quizzes are formatted to look like the STAAR test, including some griddable answers. Answer keys are included with every quiz, but I encourage you to contact me if you see any errors so I can correct them.
These activities are for personal classroom use only and may not be redistributed in any form. You may buy additional licenses for additional teachers at half price or send other interested teachers to my TPT store to purchase. Bundles are also available at a discounted price - look for the yellow thumbnails!
