The Republic of Texas was an exciting time in Texas History - share that excitement with your students through engaging activities.

In this bundle, you will receive all of my Republic of Texas lessons including lessons on government. This includes the Presidents of the Republic of Texas (Houston and Lamar), the controversy behind the Annexation of Texas, the Mexican American-War, Principles of Government, and a DBQ examining the difference between the US and Texas Constitution.

Each of these lessons involve an Interactive Student Notebook component and are designed for maximum engagement for your students. Your ELL students are supported through Pre-Reading, During Reading and After Reading activities, as well as Doodle Notes to create meaning for complex vocabulary concepts. An editable version of an assessment is provided.
