Students will learn the NeoPopRealism ink & pen / pattern drawing style and its concept, created Nadia Russ in 1989 (if students are not familiar with this style yet). Students will make comparisons - after comparing the NeoPopRealism and Realism drawings. Students will focus on the 2012 election and how important it is because last four years the U.S.A. changed its direction and went socialistic, which means the increasing number of the government workers, less opportunities for the regular people to achieve the American dream, less freedom and liberties.
Students will be reminded about struggle of the regular people in the socialist countries such as ex-USSR and the contemporary Cuba that is still under the totalitarian regime.
Students will learn about GOP - Republican Party that promotes freedom and liberty, learn about its logo.
Students will create GOP's logo in the NeoPopRealist ink & pen / pattern drawing manner.
