Be sure that you have an application to open this file type before downloading and/or purchasing.
Here is a list of questions that typically divide Republicans and Democrats.
You can have students put a check mark by the one they agree with more.
Afterward you can have them write a D or an R next to each item they picked.
Then they can count up the ones they picked to see which party or political philosophy they lean toward.
The items are mixed so there isn't one party that is always the first option.
This is also a good way to talk about some of these issues.
This is a great activity around election time.
I know a lot of these issues are complicated, but I tell students "if someone is Republican they would probably agree with this." Or "not all Democrats say this, but pretty much the only people who say that are Democrats."
Having these binary choices makes the students pick one they agree with more.
