Students will using the engineering design process to design a new rescue air cushion! In this challenge students will work together to create a model for this scenario. The air cushion will be made out of paper, and an egg will represent the individual being rescued. Students are assessed by the role the play in the design process - leader, evaluator, observer, or sketcher. Each role relates to a step in the design process.
