Thanks for checking out my Elementary Research Paper forms. The elementary grades are perfect for introducing research;. Kids are so curious about the world around them! With the proper guidance, they are able to produce some amazing stuff. That’s where we come in.
The forms here work well when you teach your students to use their own questions to guide their research. Everything is based on their questions. You will have them keep track of info based on what question it answers, and sources will be traced back to questions.
In this packet, you will find a general “What do I know about my topic” form, a “Questioning” form, a form to track sources for each question, a form to help transfer information found into a paragraph, an “important words” form, and a “Quick Sketch” form. Lots of documents, but take each step one at a time.
Notice, there is no final product form. Research doesn’t always end in a neatly constructed, 5 paragraph paper. It can, but it can also look like a brochure, a poster, a power point slide show, an ABC book, or a letter written to someone else to share what they learned. The sky is the limit!
So, go inspire some “eager beavers” in your classroom.
You’ll be surprised with what they can do!
Then, leave me some feedback (get some TpT points),
