Standards based organizer and rubric (writing and language arts) to help students organize the process of researching to optimize their best score and thoughts throughout the research and writing process. It helps educators and students see how students can earn proficiency by what is expected. Students are able to push themselves to the next level when they know what they need to accomplish when they are able to see the rubric ahead of time and have it throughout their research and development. This can be used for cross curricular and is nice for allowing students to re-do the assignment as well. They can see where they were on the original score and how they improved. This can be adapted to include speaking and listening as well as reading standards or technology.
