Research is my least favorite unit to teach. It is cumbersome, multifaceted, and exhausting because students have such a difficult time grasping the concepts at first. I even teach English online for a college, and many college students do not have a clue how to write a research paper correctly from start to finish. If my high school and college students struggle with this, I assume they are not alone. I have also noticed that research is being taught much earlier than high school and developing a working process for younger students to use is not a fun task.
