This is a research project that students present orally to the class. There are three separate parts to the project. One for art, music and arquitecture.
Each student will investigate an assigned artist, musician and piece of arquitecture from the same Spanish Speaking Country. However, various Spanish Speaking countries are represented.
There are 11 different groupings, but if you have a larger class, they could work in pairs or you could add to the list.
I did this project in the unit on Belleza y Estetica (Beauty and Esthetics) for the 2014 AP Spanish Exam. They all presented on music on Monday/Tuesday then Art on Thurs/Friday and then arquitecture on Tues/ Wed.
The presentations were very interesting. After the presentations, we discussed common themes and compared them to our culture.
Project, evaluations and note taking sheets are included.
All documents are Microsoft Word so they can be manipulated to best suit your class.
The Microsoft Word files are all in a zipped file. Just unzip, print, copy, and hand out. The students will take it from there.
