Who knew a research project could be so fun?!? My students had a blast researching the life of a historical figure and presenting what they had learned! The pages contained in this research project are generic and can be used with any historical figures and any time period.

This packet contains all student and teacher pages needed to complete this research project. I included teacher information pages to help guide you through this project. There is very little teacher prep required!

There is NO DRESS UP required for the presentation! During my entire teaching career, I have worked in high-poverty schools. I loved seeing the projects in which students dressed as the historical figures they studied. However, I knew that just would not be possible for the majority of my students. During the presentation, each student will show three tangible items that help tell the story of his/her historical figure's life. I have included more information and examples in the packet!

Contents of the packet:

* Pages 3-6: Getting Started - Includes:
Teacher Information Sheet
Parent Information Letter
Student Roster

* Pages 7-17: Taking Notes - Includes:
Teacher Information Sheet
Student Checklist
