Research & Report: An Animal Project

I created this resource as a companion for our life cycles/non-fiction/animal experts unit. This is one of both mine and my students favorite units of the year. We become animal experts- learning through reading, writing ,and observing! Finally, students get to present what they’ve learned to their classmates!

In this resource you will find a list of kid-friendly websites your students can use to complete their research, a graphic organizer for note taking, drafting papers with guidance for each section of their animal book, and a variety of publishing pages. I have also included a link to a symbaloo I made to avoid the need to have students type in websites.

I created this symbaloo of the links included in the resource to avoid students having to type in websites (We all know how crazy that can get!). You can leave a link to this on your website for your students to easily access.
