Animal Research Question Cards. This is a set of 32 animal research task cards, and a fun BINGO board to track the questions they have answered. The students select an animal question card and research for the answer. When the question is answered the students can have a peer or a teacher check their answers. If answered correctly the student can attach a BINGO piece to their card. This is fun way for the students to keep track of what cards they have completed. Set a time goal for the students to receive a BINGO. I usually set this up for a week or to. The students love it! They can be used to teach students how to use search engines and complete research. They can be used to teach your students how to take notes. If you your students already know how to research, they can be used as a research center, a fun activity for earlier finishers, or as an introduction into an animal unit, they make a great interest sparker. They can also be used as
n internet scavenger hunt. Let the students see how many of
the questions they can answer using research in a certain
amount of time. This would be for your more advanced
researchers. I have provided an answer key for the cards.
The answers to most of these questions will vary because
here are more than one correct answer to many of them. This
is a guide to the most common answers. Several of the
questions also prompt the students to find additional
information on the animals.
