I created this mini-project for my students so that they can do more than just study pre-made food pyramids; rather, they can construct their own using a great online resource that provides predator/prey information for a variety of forest (Eastern, mid-Atlantic) organisms.
I assign this activity following my introductory lessons on food chains, which includes learning the vocabulary words listed below – all of these words are used in this assignment.
