Children today need to develop strengths and acquire coping skills to bounce back from adversity and be prepared for challenging situations in life. Let’s face it - life can be tough! While it’s not possible to protect our children from all the tough stuff in life, we are able to equip them with the tools they need to build resilience and thrive!

Resilience Park is a comprehensive group counseling program with a CARNIVAL THEME that students are sure to enjoy! The program is designed to teach upper elementary students the crucial skills they need to adapt and bounce back when faced with difficulty, adversity, trauma, and any significant sources of stress. This 15-week curriculum - aligned with the ASCA standards - is PACKED with student activities, handouts, and games. Its versatility makes it perfect for classroom guidance and individual student counseling, too! You can choose to use any variety of these activities and games in multiple counseling settings if you choose not to implement the full curriculum in its entirety. Group session lesson plans are provided that include the objectives, materials, scripted discussion, and processing and reflection questions.
