After studying how rights and responsibilities go hand in hand, students can reflect on what each statement in the presentation really means to them. Teams will agree or disagree and present out to the whole class. This PowerPoint has comments written by my former students. It illustrated growth in their understandings about rights and responsibilities because I initially gave them these comments in an Anticipatory Guide to survey the class on their beliefs. This was a truly powerful activity. If you copy the statements into a Word document, you can create an anticipatory guide to use before you begin a unit with this focus. The second slide has specific instructions for students. Quick and Easy.
