This is a two-page Word document in open notes format with the teacher's KEY. I usually use open notes to introduce a new unit of study. The blank open notes are given to each student and projected onto a screen such as a Promethean board. The teacher fills in the blanks on the board while the students fill in their copy. This is a great way to present a lot of information to the student without having them take copious notes by hand.
The notes also include a large, full-color depiction of the lungs and heart which includes a cross-section that is labeled with arrows. The students love this! Very interactive, very effective.
