This classroom guidance lesson gives primary/early elementary-aged students a chance to identify responsibly behaviors. Students listen to a story about a safari ranger who doesn't fulfill his responsibilities and discuss how it affected the other characters! Students play a movement-based game to sort scenario cards as responsible or not responsible and then identify their own responsibilities at home and school!
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), PPT story, printable story, 32 scenario cards, blank cards to create your own scenarios, student handout in boy/girl versions, optional hat printable craft, and objectives assessment checklist.
