Responsibility Round-up School Counseling lesson lets students explore and gain understanding of responsibility using a mini book activity. I designed this activity so that it can be adapted for students in K-4th grade. This activity gives students concrete examples of what it means to be responsible, older students can expand those examples by talking about what responsibility looks like and sounds like. Younger students can be guided through this process too! Students will know what responsibility is, and recognize it in action! A mini poster for responsibility is still included and can be displayed in the classroom. Students also have the opportunity to design their own badge of responsibility. Students will enjoy sharing their badge creations and sharing is sure to spark more conversation about what it means to be responsible..
