Product Description
A lesson plan, powerpoint, and dialogue ordering activity to teach students about some of the norms and language used in restaurants and menus in the U.S.

*Note: this lesson plan was designed with 9th grade native Spanish-speakers from Spain in mind but could easily be used for other grade levels and language backgrounds.

Included are:
1. The lesson plan which provides step-by-step instructions and suggested questions for checking comprehension and discussion.

2. A PowerPoint presentation with photo illustrations and vocabulary related to restaurants and menus.

3. Dialogue strips for a conversation between a waiter and two customers in a restaurant. I had two student teams race to put the dialogue in order and then two groups of student volunteers perform the completed dialogue for the class.
