Engage your students in character building discussion and allow students to reflect on issues they are having in school and at home during restorative circles. Help your students become more aware of the importance of having good character and what to do when or if someone is not exhibiting those traits.
Gather in your whole group circle first thing in the morning to start the day off right and guide daily choices and actions in a thoughful, caring direction or
end your day with a restorative circle to discuss what went on during the day and reflect on what could be done differently the next day...or do a combination of both!!
This resource contains 4 weeks
of discussion and reflection on the character trait of responsibility.
Each unit comes with:
♦ Guided questions for discussion
♦ Scenarios for discussion or acting out
♦ A reflection page for those who would like to write before or after the discussion
The sets come in three varieties
so you can choose which work best for you and your students. They are:
• large color copies (to be displayed on the projector for the whole class to see)
• small color copies (to be given to students)
• black and white copies (of both large and small sets)
This resource includes an editable
page in both color and black and white. This way you have the option to make the discussion questions and scenarios a little more personal to your teaching style or needs based on the groups of students you have from year to year. Please note
that the fonts are the same, but there is only one font size per box, so you may need to adjust the number of characters you use as needed. The editable templates will be very similar, but may not be exactly identical.
The following traits are complete. Click on the word to see each resource!
