Students use this form to request a "Restorative Circle."
Restorative Circles are an important part of Restorative Discipline. Circles bring together the offender(s) and the victim(s), in a safe environment where the parties can discuss the harms that were committed, and work toward making things right again. In a circle, students are able to explore how an offense has affected their peers, teachers, administrators, family, and community members. The goal is for victim and offender to come to an agreement on appropriate consequences, and to begin repairing community and relationships between the parties.
This form allows students to request a Restorative Circle with someone who has harmed them. A teacher or administrator must follow up by leading the circle.
