Product Description
These story problems were created to be used for differentiating with in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classrooms. They are based on authentic experiences of students. I have left the numbers in the majority of the story problems blank so that the teacher can help students comprehend the story problem (word problem) first and then they can fill in the numbers according to the ability level of each student or group of students. Or you could have the students pick their own numbers to take some ownership in their own differentiation.

They are written in both English and Spanish. These worksheets are perfect for bilingual classrooms, dual language classrooms, or ELL's.
These could be used as a station in a math workshop, as work for guided groups, as homework or as assessments.
