These story problems were created to be used for differentiating with in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classrooms. They are based on authentic experiences of students. I have left the numbers in the majority of the story problems blank so that the teacher can help students comprehend the story problem (word problem) first and then they can fill in the numbers according to the ability level of each student or group of students.
These could be used as a station in a math workshop, as work for guided groups, as homework or as assessments.
I will post them in Spanish with in the next several days.
