This critical thinking activity provides the basics that enable students to develop a well written resume. This document has three sections. Section A provides probing questions that helps students identify qualifications and experiences that they possess that will help them write their resume. Section B prompts students to utilize their answers from Section A and provides a Sample Student Resume that guides them toward writing a resume of their own. Section C is a critical thinking assignment that asks students to identify a job that they would like to apply for. After this job is identified students are asked to retrieve the job's description and needed qualifications. They are then prompted to compare their resume with the job description they select and identify how they can fill in any gaps in their resume.
