Students will practice reading a short passage and determine the BEST retell. This can be an independent activity or place in groups where students have to talk with their team about why each choice is wrong or write. Using the recording sheet they will recorded why they choose the answer they choose.
There are many ways to play. I placed my teams of groups of 4-5 and placed the four stories around the room. Then had each group go to the story and read the story in teams determine the best retell. The students are to use the recording sheet to prove their answers. Why right or wrong.
