This lovely resource will extend your Little Red Riding Hood activities. You and your students will love the original song with a new spin on the traditional story. Re-telling and sequencing is at the heart of this resource. Great addition to your Fairy Tale unit!

Included in this packet:

  • Original Little Red Riding Hood song (by Susan Paul) - a "piggy back" song to the tune of "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain".
  • Patterns for masks- to be made at a center
  • Word Wall cards
  • Black and white version of the picture cards (for your printing preferences)

Students choose a character to act out as they sing the song.

Use the Word Wall cards to help teach vocabulary and to help with writing in the Writing Center. A big bang for one song!

Teachers are saying:

  • "Retelling with props is always a hit in Kindergarten! These are great!"
  • "Love these!"
