In this unit students will investigate the nutritional value of school lunches.
Students will gain an understanding about nutrition and use that information to evaluate their school lunches. Students will determine what can be done to improve school lunches by conducting interviews with food service staff, taking polls from students, and researching lunches around the world.
After students have completed their research, they will create a new lunch menu for their school.
