Lack of representation leads to exclusion, promotes bias and prejudice, limits learning experiences, and misrepresents the current and historic contributions of a diverse group of STEM professionals. STEM 4 Justice promotes social justice by addressing the lack of diversity in STEM educational resources. Students and teachers will explore the possible reasons for the lack of diversity in STEM resources and act with intentionality to expand their knowledge of diverse STEM professionals.
Forging a Path to Justice | Revealing Hidden Figures provides learners the opportunity to explore reasons for the lack of diverse representation in STEM educational resources. Teachers can print copies for in-person classes or create digital activities through TPT Digital Activities.
