This reverse conjugations worksheet is a quick easy way to get students to think about translating from Spanish to English. This activity is great to use right after teaching conjugations. I created this activity when I found that students needed a little more practice going from Spanish to English. My students were doing a great job of conjugating the infinitive form of regular verbs in the present tense, but they were struggling with going from Spanish to English. This worksheet gave them a chance to go step-by-step through the translation process. It also helped students realize that sometimes in the Spanish language subject pronouns are only implied - not actually spoken (ex: "Hablo" has the same translation as "Yo hablo"). It was good to use this before trying to move into more elaborate sentences. It is short, fast, and easy to find and correct misconceptions!
